Vasudev Ghat located on Yamuna river was bathed in the light of lamps on Wednesday to commemorate Dev Diwali, Guru Parv and the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. During this, on the initiative of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, the ghat was illuminated by lighting about three lakh lamps. This was a unique event in itself. For the first time, such a grand festival of lights was seen in the capital Delhi.

In the evening, the ghats of Yamuna were lit up with a series of lamps, presenting a wonderful sight. Drone and laser shows were also organised, which made the festival of lights even more attractive. Through the drone show, beautiful scenes were presented in the sky through colorful lights and shapes, in which the audience felt the glimpse of Indian culture. Symbols of Lord Birsa Munda, Guru Nanak Dev and Lord Ram were depicted through drones, which touched the hearts of the devotees.

Yamuna Aarti was also the main attraction of the Deepotsav, in which hundreds of devotees participated. Amidst the chanting of Yamuna Aarti by the pundits and blowing of conch shells, the devotees present at the ghat became meditating and became a part of this divine event. As another special attraction in this, a grand Ram Darbar was established in Baradari. Idols of Lord Ram, Mother Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman were decorated in it, a crowd of devotees gathered to see them.
