On the NEET UG paper leak case, the educational institute associated with the Sangh admitted that there is a need for change in the current examination system. Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan (VBABSS) president D Ramakrishna Rao said that to avoid paper leak and coaching, there will have to be a radical change in the examination system of the country. Along with that, the method of studying in schools will also have to be changed. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will also have to work on a foolproof examination system like IIT. Apart from this, experiments like open book exam should be done in big exams like engineering and NEET. In this, the student’s IQ, intelligence, attitude and aptitude can be tested.
Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan in Delhi presented its annual report on Thursday. More than 34 lakh students are studying in 20 Indian languages in the institute’s 12094 schools across the country. As per the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020, these schools focus on the overall development of the student along with bookish education. Brilliant students are also getting guidance for national entrance examinations for free in special classes. This is the reason why 2755 students of class 10th and 3922 students of class 12th have made it to the merit list of the year 2024. Whereas in 2023, 16 students have passed the Civil Services Examination.
Praise of IIT exam system
Rao praised the IIT examination system. He said that their exam papers are not leaked but are foolproof. The National Testing Agency will have to learn the pattern of examination from them. These points are focused on in their examination. We are sure that Dr. Radhakrishnan Committee will give good suggestions and recommendations.
Get students prepared in special classes
In the program, he was asked for information about sending suggestions to the government on paper leak. On this, the president of the institute said that after the NEET paper leak case, suggestions have been sent to the high-level committee formed for NTA reform. Former ISRO chief Dr. K. Radhakrishnan Committee has invited suggestions from everyone, so we have also given. Reforms have been sent to the committee for the future of society and children. We believe that the method of studying and teaching in school education has to be changed first. The student has to be given holistic education with quality. Apart from this, students who want to make a future in engineering, medical etc. will have to prepare by organizing special classes in schools for free. We have done this experiment in Vidya Bharti schools and have got success.
