Ingredients to make Veg Biryani
Boiled rice – 2 cups
Mix Vegetable – 3 cups
Onion chopped – 1/4 cup
Green chili – 1-2
Ginger chopped – 1 tsp
Garlic chopped – 5-6 cloves
Green coriander – 2-3 tbsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Biryani masala – 1 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

Veg Biryani Recipe
To make flavourful veg biryani, first boil the rice. After this, take green vegetables and cut them into pieces. Then finely chop onion, garlic, green chilies and green coriander. Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and fry it. When cumin starts crackling, add finely chopped onion, garlic and sauté on low flame for some time. Then put chopped vegetables in it and fry for some time.

After frying the vegetables for a minute or two, add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder and other dry spices and mix well and fry for some more time. Now take out a little of the prepared vegetable mixture in a bowl and keep it aside. Put half the boiled rice in the remaining mixture. Put the vegetable mixture kept in the bowl over it. Then put the remaining rice on top and prepare the layer.

After the layer of the mixture is ready, cover the pan and let the biryani cook for another 5-7 minutes. After this add lemon juice and mix and garnish with green coriander. The flavourful Veg Biryani is ready. Serve it in lunch or dinner.
