Rajnath Singh Soul Of Steal Sports Event: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will launch the ‘Soul of Steel’ adventure sports program in Dehradun on Saturday (January 14) on the occasion of Veterans Day. The Indian Army is organizing a multi-nation adventure sports event in Uttarakhand near the LAC adjacent to China. This year this event will happen between March-May.
There will be a program from Joshimath and Nanda Devi mountain close to LAC. Teams from a total of 6 countries including India will participate in this event. This program will be held at the same place where recently the armies of India and America did a joint ‘Yudh Abhyas’.

Joshimath based oldest brigade of the Indian Army, IBEX (9 Independent Brigade) is doing this event with a company named CLAW (CLAW). This company belongs to former para commandos of the army, who do such adventure sports. Prime Minister of the campaign on his Siachen base Narendra Modi Have also praised.
The Defense Ministry said in a statement that Rajnath Singh will preside over the Ex-Servicemen Day celebrations and will also address a rally of ex-servicemen at Jaswant Maidan. Rajnath Singh will flag off the car rally from here to Ghamshali.
What is the objective?
- To prevent migration of local people from Uttarakhand, to generate employment through adventure sports.
- To establish ex-servicemen close to LAC through employment.
- Message to China that not only army but local people also live on LAC.
