On Saturday, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the vigilance team arrested Divisional Joint Education Director Ram Pratap Sharma red handed while taking bribe. Ram Pratap Sharma’s family has raised questions on this action of the vigilance. They have accused him of being falsely implicated. Late on Saturday night, the family reached the vigilance office. The team does not have any evidence that can confirm the taking of money.
Everyone from clerk to officer is demanding bribe
This is not the first case when an officer has been caught. More than 20 complaints have been filed with the Vigilance. In these, employees and officers of education, municipal corporation and other departments have been accused of demanding money in exchange for work. The team is investigating.
