Recently, Vijayta Pandit gave an interview to Laharen. The actress told that her father wanted to meet Kumar Gaurav’s father Rajendra Kumar to complain about him. According to reports, when Vijayta Pandit was asked about Kumar Gaurav, Vijeta Pandit spoke openly. Vijeta Pandit said, ‘I never went to his house, he used to come to meet me.’
The actress was asked, ‘So your family members noticed that he was engaged to someone else and still he was coming to meet her.’ So Vijeta says, ‘No…no…they were very upset that he was engaged to Raj Kapoor’s daughter then why does he come here. My daddy said I will go to Rajendra ji’s house and tell him that your son comes to my house. He is engaged, you stop him.’
The actress further said, ‘I told you never to do this or else they will push you out, Rajendra Kumar, you know how short-tempered he is. My mother was very scared at that time, this boy comes here and his marriage is happening somewhere else. So one day my mother asked me that son, you are engaged and you are getting married there, then why are you meeting my daughter. Don’t come, all this doesn’t look good.’
Vijayta further said- ‘So he said no aunty I am already engaged but I will marry Vijayta, then mummy said how will you marry when you are already engaged. So he said no aunty I will talk to my parents and I want to marry Vijayta only.’
Kumar Gaurav married Sanjay Dutt’s sister
Kumar Gaurav, the only son of Rajendra Kumar, one of the best actors of the old times, was engaged to Raj Kapoor’s daughter but the marriage did not happen. Actually, in 1981, the film ‘Naam’ was released which was a superhit and Kumar Gaurav became good friends with Sanjay Dutt in it. During that time, Kumar Gaurav started visiting Sanju Baba’s house and he liked Sanjay Dutt’s sister Namrata.
Kumar Gaurav insisted on marrying Namrata. It is said that when Rajendra Kumar talked about breaking off his relationship with Raj Kapoor’s daughter, their friendship was also affected. Currently, Kumar Gaurav and Namrata got married in 1984 and have two children, Sachi and Siya Kumar.
Vijayeta Pandit married a music director
Vijayta Pandit married music director Adesh Srivastava in 1990. Adesh gave amazing music in many Bollywood films but he died in 2015 at the age of 57. Vijayta did not remarry later. Adesh and Vijayta have two children, Avitesh and Anivesh Srivastava.
