Without any delay, Lord Kartikeya set out to revolve around the earth riding on his vehicle peacock. Ganesh ji had a mouse riding there.
In such a situation, it was not possible for the mouse to revolve faster than the peacock. Then very cleverly, instead of circling the earth, he stood at his place and did 7 rounds of Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva.
When Mahadev asked Ganesh ji why he did this, Ganesh ji said that the whole world lies at the feet of the parents.
