In an interview with Times Now, Vikrant said, “I had not thought that all this would happen in life. I failed 12th, and my work was appreciated so much. My dream was to get Filmfare in life, I got that too.” Vikrant said that he is very grateful for the recognition he has received, especially as a person coming from a middle class background. He said, “For a person from a middle-class family, meeting the Prime Minister, seeing him and the entire Cabinet watch a film means a lot to me, it is already a big achievement.”
What did Vikrant say on his retirement post?
Vikrant further spoke openly about the emotional and physical impact it had on his career. “Physically, I’m tired,” he admitted. He also mentioned that his social media post written in English had created some confusion. He said, “I thought it was high time that the Honorable Prime Minister was going to watch a film that is very close to my heart, and I thought that from here, things can only get better. But when there is not much creativity left, you need to recalibrate. I also tried to do the same, the problem would be that I wrote too much English. I wanted to express it, but I wrote too much in English, and everyone couldn’t understand it.”
