People’s health is deteriorating due to the fluctuations in the weather. The incidence of viral infection, fever and diarrhea is increasing. In the pathology lab of Aligarh District Hospital, 80 patients are getting tested for viral infection every day. If we include all the private pathology labs of the district, this figure has reached 2500. Viral infection is spreading like flu. There is also a danger of malaria and dengue in the coming days.

From the morning of 29th July, queues started forming at the prescription window and OPD of the district hospital. There was a huge crowd till 2 pm. The number of patients suffering from viral infection, fever and diarrhea was the highest. 304 patients reached the pathology lab for examination, out of which 90 got tested for viral infection. According to the records of the pathology lab of the district hospital, on normal days 10-15 patients were coming for testing for viral infection. Now the number has reached 80-90. If we look at the data of private pathology labs, five to ten patients are getting it tested in each. Due to which this figure has reached 2500 daily in the entire district.
Dehydration due to excessive sweating
CMS of Aligarh District Hospital, Dr. Jagveer Verma, says that the number of viral infection patients is increasing in this season. In humidity, one sweats more, hence dehydration occurs. Immunity reduces. Children are more affected by this. Eat fresh and balanced food to stay healthy. If fever persists for 24 hours, then consult a doctor.
