Vodafone Idea has not yet announced the launch of 5G service. There is no visible plan of the company regarding the launching of 5G. Looking at all this, it can be directly said that Vodafone Idea is lagging far behind in the competition from Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio.

Despite this, the company is yet to find new investors, which has put the company at a disadvantage compared to its competitors Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio. This has affected the company’s brand value and customer loyalty as customers in India give priority to reliability while choosing a telecom operator. The firm said that if Vodafone Idea is unable to raise funding, it could jeopardize the future of the company in the Indian telecom market. This lack of competition can also negatively affect users.
The firm said that the Government of India may again need to see that there is healthy competition in the telecom market and users have access to high quality, affordable service. The existence of Vodafone is necessary to avoid monopoly in the Indian 5G market. If Vi gets funding, the company can offer data along with multiple dimensions like voice, SMS and content at a very cost effective price.
