Water flowing like smoke, rocks changing shape! This place in India is no less than a mystery

Madhya Pradesh: There is a place in Madhya Pradesh, in front of which even the sights of foreign countries seem pale. Bhedaghat of Jabalpur is so beautiful. Marble rocks and lush green trees around. The place is so special that many films have been shot here. People also consider this place the best for boating. People also call the rocks of this ghat magical.

Why is Bhedaghat special
The stones present on Bhedaghat have turned into rocks over time. The 100 feet high rocks make this ghat special. The flowing water has turned these marble rocks into a 5 kilometer long valley. There is a lot of magnesium in these marbles, so this stone is soft. A waterfall of this ghat is also very famous. Its name is Dhuandhar waterfall. The water falls so fast that it looks like smoke. The sound of flowing water here is very loud. The Chausath Yogini temple built in Bhedaghat is also special. There are statues of 64 Yoginis here.

The historian said this
Historian Jayant Verma explains, ‘The Narmada river is two rivers, which fall into the Arabian Sea instead of the Bay of Bengal. One is Tapti and the other is Narmada. Once upon a time there was a fault here, which formed two. The land in between remained. Both Narmada and Tapti flow into the Arabian Sea. The volcano that erupted billions of years ago, the lava that flowed out, created a soft stone. This is not marble.’

shape shifting rock
People call these rocks several feet high magical. As the river flows, the rocks change their shape. These rocks are black from outside and white from inside. The view here becomes doubly beautiful at night. Marble looks very beautiful in the moonlight. Some time ago, dinosaur eggs have also been found in Bhedaghat.

Many films have been shot
Some time ago, Bhedaghat was in the limelight. This place was seen in Shahrukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu’s film ‘Dunky’. Apart from this, films like Mohenjodaro, Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye, Ashoka, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai and Bobby have also been shot here.

How To Reach Bhedaghat
To reach Bhedaghat, you have to get down at Jabalpur railway station and bus stand. This place is about 25 km away from Jabalpur. The city also has its own airport. You have the option of ropeway to reach Bhedaghat. The views can be seen more closely by boating in the ghat, the ticket for which is 200 rupees.
