There is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe from November 1 to 3. Heavy rains were recorded in Odisha and Tamil Nadu during the last 24 hours.
IMD has predicted light rain or thundershowers in Mumbai city and its outskirts during the next 24 hours. IMD has issued yellow alert for Raigarh and Ratnagiri from Wednesday to Friday.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increase in cold with light rain during the next 24 hours in many districts including Prayagraj and Varanasi. In most parts of the state, cold may arrive with Diwali.
The air of the country’s capital Delhi still remains poisonous. Due to Delhi’s AQI being 431, people are having trouble breathing. Mild cold is being felt in Delhi in the morning and evening.
There is a possibility of rain during Diwali in many districts of Bihar. According to IMD, there is a possibility of light rain at some places of Munger, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui till Diwali (31 October 2024).
According to IMD, there is a possibility of thunderstorm along with lightning at different places in Goa, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, East Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Sikkim during 30 and 31 October 2024.
