On Sunday, except for sporadic rains in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, the weather in other cities was sunny and cloudy. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of good rain in the Terai areas of the state on Monday. Along with this, warning of thunderstorms along with rain has been issued in the southern districts of the state, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi as well as Gorakhpur, Basti, Kushinagar, Siddharthnagar etc.
On Sunday, 28 mm of rain was recorded in Muzaffarnagar, 12.2 mm in Ballia, 9 mm in Agra and 5.8 mm in Prayagraj. Talking about the maximum day temperature in the state, it was 37.3 degrees in Kanpur, 37 degrees in Hardoi and 36.4 degrees Celsius in Jhansi. At night, the temperature dipped in many districts and people got relief. Ghazipur had the lowest temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, while it was 22 degrees in Basti and 22.5 degrees Celsius in Barabanki.

The Meteorological Department has predicted good rains in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti and surrounding areas for Monday. At the same time, a warning of thunderstorm has been issued in Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Varanasi as well as Gorakhpur, Basti, Kushinagar etc. districts.
