Anagha told that in May 2020 her weight was 95 kg, after which she made a plan to reduce it and started the fat to fit journey. In December 2021, her weight was reduced to 63 kg, that is, in about 19 months she had lost 32 kg. She told that she was suffering from obesity since childhood. She tried to lose weight many times, but did not succeed.

New mission started in lockdown

According to Anagha, during the lockdown in the country in 2020, she found a way to lose weight and started working on it. For this, she read the answers to questions related to weight loss on Quora and learned lessons from people who had lost weight.

According to Anagha, she saw many researches for weight loss, but everyone talked about one type of nutrition or cutting down on food. However, she wanted to make a diet plan that she could follow for life. She realized that any effective weight loss diet definitely includes cutting down on calories. So she downloaded a calorie tracking app and set a target of losing one pound (about 453 grams) every week. With this, she started cutting down 500 to 600 calories daily, which led to losing one pound of weight in a week.

Fitness routine was also taken care of

To cut calories, Anagha controlled her food portion and exercised daily. During this, she focused more on brisk walking, which burns more calories without feeling tired. She also did HIIT (HIIT) or high intensity interval training 3 or 4 times a week. However, it is important to keep in mind that such HIT exercises should be chosen which do not cause injury.

Avoided these things

According to Anagha, she avoided sugar, refined flour and fried food. She always ate home-cooked food and focused more on portion control without starving herself. For this, she used to drink a lot of water daily, which kept her stomach full. Anagha says that her confidence has increased due to weight loss. Now she focuses on diet and exercise etc. to keep her weight around 64 kg. She says that it does not matter what exercise you are doing or what kind of diet you are taking to lose weight. The only difference is to maintain it and follow it continuously.
