Laddu prasad is prepared in Tirupati temple. Every day 3 lakh laddus are made and distributed here. Beef fat, animal fat and fish oil are mixed in laddus. All this is mixed in the ghee from which laddus are prepared. Not only this, these laddus have been distributed as prasad to the devotees, but these laddus have also been offered to God as prasad.

Where does the ghee come from in the temple?

According to the information, for the last 50 years, Karnataka Cooperative Milk Federation was supplying pure desi ghee to the temple committee at concessional rates. At the same time, in July 2023, the company refused to supply at a lower rate, after which the then Jagan Mohan Reddy government gave the responsibility of supplying ghee to 5 firms. At the same time, in July this year, after irregularities were found in the sample, the Naidu government became alert and on August 29, again handed over the supply work to KMF.
