What is Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)?
This is a rare disease. In this, the body’s immune system starts attacking the nerves themselves. Its direct effect falls on the muscles and weakness starts to be felt. In some cases, hands and legs also become numb and in severe cases paralysis may also occur. This syndrome was discovered already in 1916. It was first discovered by French neurologists Georges Guillen and Jean-Alexandre Barre. This is a kind of auto immune disease.

How to know if you have GBS or not?
