Women will get thousand rupees every month
In Chhattisgarh, the BJP government had talked about Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women in its resolution letter. Which later Prime Minister Modi had said that he has a guarantee that he will get it completed. Now exactly after 100 days, Chhattisgarh government has started the implementation of this scheme. Under this scheme, women will be given a financial amount of thousand rupees every month. That means the government will give ₹ 12000 as financial assistance to a woman in a year. Today i.e. on March 10, under this scheme, a financial amount of thousand rupees will be sent to the accounts of eligible women. Chhattisgarh Finance Minister Gopi Chaudhary gave this information in the press conference.
Who will get benefits under this scheme?
To avail the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana running in Chhattisgarh, some eligibility criteria have been created for women under the scheme. All married women above 21 years of age will get the benefit of this scheme. To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary to be a citizen of Chhattisgarh. Women who are above 21 years of age but are not married will not be given benefits under the scheme. Chhattisgarh government will send the first installment of this scheme to the accounts of the beneficiaries today i.e. on March 10.
