Let us tell you that the Manhattan Project was America’s project to make the atom bomb. The credit for making the world’s first atom bomb goes to Oppenheimer. It is said that many technical difficulties were faced while making the atom bomb. But when Einstein came to know that the Germans could be successful in solving these problems, he warned President Franklin D. Roosevelt about it. Einstein wrote a letter to President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939 for this, it is said that this letter helped in starting the American effort to make the atomic bomb. Einstein wrote this letter with the help of another scientist Leo Szilard.

According to the information, two discoveries in 1940 and 1941 showed that it was possible to make a bomb. The ‘critical mass’ of uranium used to make atom bombs was discovered and it was also confirmed that plutonium could undergo fission and be used in bombs. After which in December 1941, the government started the Manhattan Project to make atom bombs.
Let us tell you that even before this, things related to Einstein have been auctioned. In 2021, some rare documents of Einstein’s Theory of Reality were auctioned. These documents were sold for $13 million (Rs 108 crore). However, this will be Einstein’s new record in terms of letters. In 2018, one of his letters was sold for Rs 23.5 crore, in which he talked about God and religion.
