Accidental delete feature of WhatsApp
This new feature named ‘Accidental Delete’ of Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp can recover any message within a few seconds. This feature has been rolled out for both Android and iPhone users. It happens many times that we send wrong messages while chatting on WhatsApp. Due to mistake, sometimes the message of the group goes to the personal chat and sometimes the message of the personal chat goes to the group.
On discovering the mistake, we start deleting the message in a panic. In such a situation, many times we tap on “Delete for me” instead of “Delete for Everyone” in order to delete the message immediately. Because of this, that message is deleted only from our chat, not from the receiver’s chat. As a solution to this problem, now WhatsApp has rolled out ‘Accidental Delete’ or say ‘Undo’ feature. In this feature, the user is getting the facility to recover accidentally deleted messages within 5 seconds.
