More than 47 lakh accounts banned in the month of March
WhatsApp has released the safety report for the month of March and between March 1 and March 31, the company banned 47,15,906 Indian accounts, out of which 16,59,385 accounts were banned by WhatsApp itself under its own policy. In the month of March, WhatsApp had received 4,720 complaints out of which 4,316 complaints were for account ban. Out of this, WhatsApp took action only against 553.
