WhatsApp New Feature: New features keep appearing one after the other on WhatsApp. In this series, once again the company has given information about a new feature. Soon the company will block screenshots of WhatsApp profile photos for all users.

This feature has already been rolled out for WhatsApp Beta Android, after which it is now being made available for iOS. WABetaInfo has given information about this new feature along with sharing the screenshot on social media platform X.

Users will not be able to take screenshots of any profile

WABetaInfo has seen this feature in WhatsApp Beta for iOS 24.10.10.70. As soon as this feature is rolled out, users will not be able to take screenshots of any profile photo. This feature will also help in preventing misuse of users’ profile photos.

Till now it used to be that people in WhatsApp contacts could save any profile photo through a screenshot, but now it will not be possible to do so at all. Now no one will be able to take a screenshot of anyone’s profile photo. WhatsApp was testing this feature for a long time, after which it is now being rolled out for all users. It will reach people gradually phase wise.

Being made available for iOS users

One thing to note is that this feature has already been rolled out for Android users, after which it is now being rolled out for iOS users. You will also get notification of this feature soon. After the update, if someone takes a screenshot of your profile photo, the black screen image will be saved.

While taking screenshots of photos with this feature on WhatsApp, a warning message will appear on the screen. WhatsApp has also given its users the option to hide their profile photo, in which users can choose to whom they want to show their profile photo.
