The company has rolled out this new feature for some users and is going to roll it out for other users also in the coming few weeks.

WhatsApp was working on a sidebar design for its web version since last year. With this interface, it will be easier for users to choose different features of WhatsApp like chat, communities status, download, stars announcement etc. As you can see in this post and screenshot shared on X (old name Twitter), how the design of the web version of WhatsApp has started changing.

However, if we talk about some other features of WhatsApp, the biggest headline of this time is the Meta AI feature included in WhatsApp. Actually, Meta AI has been released in WhatsApp beta version and many beta users around the world including India are using Meta’s AI chatbot on WhatsApp.

Through its AI chatbot, Meta is preparing to give a tough competition to Google’s Gemini and Open AI’s ChatGPT. However, it is also being said in some reports that Meta AI Chatbot will not be limited to WhatsApp only, but Meta can also start it on its three main platforms WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
