Rohtas cultivated 193284 hectares, produced 688160 metric tonnes, Rohtas topped in wheat production. After this cultivation in Muzaffarpur was done in 126000 hectares and production was 389440 metric tonnes. Wheat was sown on 100732 hectares in Aurangabad, production was 228954 metric tonnes. Wheat was sown in 118283 hectares in East Champaran. Production was 302638 metric tonnes. The area under wheat sowing in Bhabhua was 109802 hectares, while the production was 335184 metric tonnes. The worst condition was of Purnia district. Here wheat was sown in 11953 hectares. But only the production was 38907 metric tonnes. Wheat was sown in 13945 hectares in Arhariya. The production was 39509 metric tonnes. In Katihar, sowing was done on 16404 hectares. The production stood at 44148 metric tonnes.

This is the status of wheat sowing in the country

Recently, the data of wheat sowing of the central government came to the fore. According to that, the area under wheat sowing in the country has increased from 552.28 lakh hectare to 578.10 lakh hectare. The area under wheat alone has increased from 278.25 lakh hectare to 286.5 lakh hectare. On the other hand, if we look at the sowing situation in the states, this year the sowing has decreased in two states Maharashtra and Haryana. Growth in wheat sowing has been seen in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Karnataka.
