When Rajesh Khanna told a lie
In a conversation with Faye D’Souza, Shabana told that Rajesh Khanna had lied once. Shabana said- Rajesh Khanna and I worked together in many films. For some reason he liked me. One day he came limping on the set and was badly hurt. A journalist asked how he got this injury. So Rajesh Khanna said that he got injured while shooting the horse riding scene.
And I immediately said – but you were shooting with me the whole day. When did you shoot the horse riding scene? He then kicked me under the table. When the journalist left, he asked me why do you always have to become Raja Harishchandra in such situations.
Then Shabana asked how did you get hurt. So Rajesh Khanna told that he had fallen from the stairs because of the lungi. Then Rajesh said- I am such a big star, do you think I should have told this.
