Student leader Akash Singh Rathore said that since 2018, many people including MP Pappu Yadav and Dr. Arun Kumar raised their voice against corruption and illegal appointments in the university and as a result, the Ministry of Education first removed Vice Chancellor Prof. Arvind Agarwal, but there were many financial matters including fake appointments made during the tenure of Prof. Agarwal, including wrong certificates, wrong experience certificates. Student leader Singh said that even in 2019, many people were appointed as Professor and Associate Professor. UGC rules were flouted in their appointments.

In the same way, many people were wrongly promoted in the cash promotions held in 2019. The student leader said that I raised questions through social media regarding one of these topics, Dinesh Hooda’s appointment as section officer in 2017 and the secret process of promotion in 2024, and shared many other information including Dinesh Hooda’s certificate in support of my point. Earlier, investigations are going on at many places including CVC on the Dinesh Hooda case and it has come to light that no agency has given him a clean chit by mentioning his name anywhere as per the name.
Student leader Akash Singh Rathore said that Dinesh Hooda claimed to have worked in UGC for about two and a half years in his application form for the post of section officer, but no person of this name was working on the post of LDC in UGC during that period, because UGC did not issue any advertisement for recruitment to the post of LDC during the given period and two to three years before or after that. If the media wants, they can investigate this matter on the UGC website or call UGC. Student leader Singh said that in such a situation, a Proctorial Manual was created as a conspiracy to raise this issue loudly and to silence my voice for fear of getting caught, which is also against various laws including the Indian Constitution, the fundamental rights of citizens.
Reacting to the suspension of student leader Akash Singh Rathore, student leader Punnu Singh said that for raising voice against the fraud and corruption in appointments at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, the university administration has suspended student leader Akash Singh Rathore from the university till further orders. This suspension is not just of Akash but of all the students of Bihar and Champaran.
