There was a major plane accident in South Korea on 29 December. Jeju Airlines flight crashed at Muan Airport. There were 181 people on board this plane, out of which 179 died and only 2 people were left alive. Both of them are flight attendants, who were sitting in the seats earmarked for the crew at the rear of the plane. After the plane crash, both of them were rescued from the emergency exit.
Earlier, a plane of Azerbaijan Airlines had crashed in Kazakhstan. Of the 67 people on board, 38 died. The 29 survivors were sitting in the rear of the plane.
