Pankaj and Farida became friends through a meeting arranged by a neighbor. After this the round of meetings between the two started. After continuously spending time with each other, both of them came closer to each other and fell in love with each other.

Both of them had decided to get married soon. But a wall of religion had come between the two. Actually, Pankaj Udhas was a Hindu and Farida belonged to a Parsi family. In such a situation, there was trouble in their marriage.
