In Bidhnu, the wife who had absconded with her brother-in-law after stabbing her truck driver husband to death, was caught by the police from Bageshwar Dham Ashram in Madhya Pradesh after eight months. After the murder, both of them were living as servants in the ashram. Both of them were working in hotels for their livelihood. With the help of the surveillance team, the police traced and arrested the murderers when they used their mobile phones. On Sunday afternoon, both were presented in the court and sent to jail.

Truck driver Dinesh Awasthi (45), originally a resident of Kodri Roop Senapur of Isanagar police station area of ​​Lakhimpur, used to drive a truck while living in Khersa village of Bidhnu for two years. A year before the incident, he had a love marriage with Poonam alias Gudiya of Sitapur. In Khersa he was living in the same house with Poonam and his younger brother Manoj. Investigation revealed that during this period Poonam had illicit relations with her brother-in-law Manoj. When Dinesh came to know about this, there was a fierce dispute between the two.
