The technology of mobile phone proved to be costly for a man when his wife read the messages which he thought he had deleted completely. Due to reading these messages, his wife filed for divorce and now this man has filed a claim of crores on Apple company. Actually his wife had read the messages which the businessman had sent to sex workers.

The man had deleted these messages from his iPhone, but that iPhone was connected to the family’s iMac, and the messages could not be deleted from it and this led to divorce. And now this businessman from England has filed a case against Apple. The Times According to the report, the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, was using iMessage to communicate with sex workers.

The businessman claims he deleted the evidence from his iPhone. But because the family’s devices were linked to the same Apple IG, the messages were still readable on the iMac. He says Apple did not tell users that deleting a message on one device does not delete it from all linked devices.

The man’s wife found the messages and filed for divorce, a move that cost him more than £5 million, or about Rs 52 crore 92 lakh, The Times reported. She described the divorce as “painful and harsh”, saying more rational conversation could have saved their marriage if the messages had not been discovered so brutally.

He said this was due to a lack of clarity from Apple about how to delete messages. He said, “Apple told me my messages were deleted, when they were not. If the message had said, ‘These messages have been deleted on this device’, that would have been a clue, or ‘These messages have been deleted only on this device’, that would have been even better.”
