Husband strangled his wife to death on suspicion of illicit relationship in Shahzadnagar police station area. On receiving the information, the parents created a ruckus at the spot. Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered a case of murder against the husband on the complaint of the woman’s brother.
Sanjeev Kumar, resident of COD Colony of Civil Lines police station area, married his sister Manju (35) with Rohan Singh, resident of Meghanagala Kadim village of Shahzadnagar police station area, 17 years ago. It is alleged that after marriage, Rohan Singh was suspicious of his wife.
Due to which he used to beat his wife every day. Rohan Singh works as a laborer while living in Rajasthan. He had come to his home only four days ago. People told that Rohan suspected his wife Manju that she was having an affair with someone.
Due to which there was a dispute between the two and the matter reached the point of fighting. It is alleged that around 12 noon on Sunday, Rohan was angry and strangulated his wife Manju with a dupatta. Due to which wife Manju died on the spot.
After the woman’s death, her husband fled from the spot. The woman’s elder daughter Himanshi went to the police station and informed the police about the death. The police reached the spot and informed the parents about the incident. The parents reached the spot and created a ruckus.
After which the police assured action and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The woman’s three children, daughter Himanshi, son Rachit and Mayank, are in a bad condition due to crying.
Police station in-charge Amarnath Verma said that the mother’s side has accused the woman of murder by strangulation. Post mortem of the dead body is being done. On the complaint of the woman’s brother Sanjeev Kumar, a report has been registered against the deceased’s husband Rohan Singh. The accused is being searched.

Manju’s elder daughter Himanshi reached the police station and said that police uncle and father have killed mother, you should leave quickly. After which the police team reached the spot. During the incident, the three children were watching the entire incident; the father strangled their mother in front of the children. During this incident, the murderer’s elderly father Ram Bharose was not at home. Whereas his mother has passed away. In such a situation, only all three children were present in the house at the time of the incident.
