Shortly before 12:30 p.m., police officers arrived at the home on Brierley Ridge Road in Mount Olivet. When the police tried to open the door of the house, Torileena Fields did not open the door. After this, when the police went behind the house, they found a pile of hair, which appeared to be Trudy’s, as well as a blood-stained mattress and marks of being dragged on the grass. The name of the person who informed the police has not been disclosed, but the police said that he is a contractor who does property related work. Torileena’s mother had called him to the house regarding the property, where she saw the body parts.

The man immediately called the police and told them that he followed the signs of being dragged to the backyard of the house, where he saw Fields’s mutilated body lying in the grass. The person who called the police said that he had last seen Trudy Fields the previous day, when she had come with him to the gate of his house.
