It is being told that Shehnaz Khatun, 35-year-old wife of Junaid Khan of Bhuwala village of the police station area, had gone to her field on Thursday morning to cut mustard. Meanwhile, some of his bandits, together, went to the field and suddenly attacked the woman with a knife on her neck, injuring her badly. During this time, the bandits caught hold of the woman’s hair and threw her on the ground and then beat her severely.
Hearing the woman’s scream, her sister-in-law and villagers reached the spot and all the accused fled from the spot out of fear. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured woman to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the woman is undergoing treatment. In her statement, the injured woman has alleged that she has an ongoing land dispute with the Pattidars. Due to which the bandits keep harassing him regularly. Pattidars had set his house on fire on Tuesday due to an old dispute.
Case registered against them
After this, the victim woman had given a written application in the police station against the accused, due to which, on Thursday morning, the Pattidars suddenly attacked the neck of the woman who was cutting mustard in the field with a knife and tried to kill her. In this case, on the application of the injured woman Shahnaz Khatoon, an FIR has been lodged against her Pattidar Mohammad Hasrat, Mohammad Reyaz, Mohammad Mannan and Mohammad Ejaz. Police is investigating the matter.
