On May 12, at around 10:30 pm, a car going towards Aligarh was hit hard by a Bolero coming from behind on the Aligarh National Highway in Sikandrarau. The woman sitting in the car died on the spot due to head injury caused by the collision. After the collision, both the vehicles overturned on the road. It is reported that the husband and daughter of the deceased were also injured in the accident. The driver of the Bolero was also injured.
According to the information, Sudarshan son Siyaram, resident of village Bhaisoara Khurd Kasganj, was going to Delhi in his car after attending a wedding ceremony. The Bolero coming from behind hit the car near the speed breaker on Mahamai Salamat Nagar Service Road, village on Aligarh Marg. The collision was so severe that 28-year-old Sunita, wife of Sudarshan, who was traveling in the car, died on the spot due to serious head injuries.
Sudarshan, who was driving the car, also got injured. Also, Sunita’s 6-year-old daughter Ragini, who was sitting in the car, was injured. Bolero driver Rahul son of Kripal Singh, resident of village Chongav Chharra, also got injured. A total of six people were sitting in the car. A woman died, a man and a girl were injured. The Kotwali police, who reached the spot after receiving the information, straightened both the vehicles with the help of a crane and made the traffic smooth. Sudarshan has lodged a report of the incident against the Bolero driver. Police have sent Sunita’s body for post-mortem.
