Do people who come very close to death and then return have strange experiences? A study has tried to explain this and find out the reason. According to this, a woman has made a unique claim. She says that when she had a heart attack, she felt that her dead grandmother was instructing her to return to her body. Doctors tried to explain the medical reasons for such experiences.
Others who have been revived after heart attacks have reported horrific experiences, including the sensation of burning in hell. Doctors believe that in such cases, the person’s brain may misinterpret medical procedures being performed to save their life.
The results of this study have further strengthened doctors’ belief that there is something within a human being that remains even after the body stops working and death occurs. Dr Sam Parnia has been investigating what happens after death for 25 years, the data for this study was collected from a combination of interviews with individuals from 25 UK and US hospitals who survived a heart attack due to early intervention, as well as people who self-reported their experiences after their heart attack.

Of those who retained memories, six reported transcendental moments. Three experienced dreamlike visions, including a bizarre encounter with a singing fisherman. The experiences varied widely: one felt they were travelling to a place where they could not find anything, while another believed he was enduring the flames of hell.
Dr. Parnia said, “These remembered experiences and brain wave changes may be the first signs of a so-called near-death experience. Our results provide evidence that on the verge of death and while in a coma, people undergo a unique internal conscious experience that involves undisturbed awareness.”
