A woman was murdered in Kudda village of Bareilly. Her body was found on a cot in the cattle shed on Wednesday morning. Her head was hit with a sharp weapon. The deceased’s son has accused his cousin of murder.

In Kuddada village of Bhamora police station area of Bareilly, 58-year-old woman Rambeti was killed by attacking her head with a sharp weapon. On Wednesday morning, her son Mahendra came home and saw his mother’s blood-soaked body lying on the bed in the cattle shed. The police was informed about the incident. The police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Mahendra said that he has an old rivalry with his cousin Nathu. Three days ago, there was a dispute between the children of both the parties at a birthday party of a child in the neighbourhood. Nathu’s side accused Mahendra’s son of entering the house and firing. The police arrested him. Action was taken against Nathu and Mahendra for disturbing the peace.
