The person described himself as a colonel in the American Army. Gradually he extorted Rs 16 lakh from the woman. But then such a thing related to that person came to light that the woman was shocked to know about it.

The person told a false story
Then Mike told Mary that his wife died of cancer 5 years ago. There is no one in his family now, he doesn’t even have any children. Mike also sent Mary a photo of his late wife. Mary trusted Mike so she gave him her address. A few days later, a box arrived at Mary’s house, which contained a gold flower and a jewel, along with a note on which it was written that she was the woman with whom he wanted to live.
Woman cheated
The person told that he is a resident of Nashville and is on one last mission in Cuba before retirement. He told that there was an insurance policy in his and his deceased wife’s name, which he wanted to settle with the help of Mary. He again sent the video to Mary and told her that she would have to send the money in two parts, after which the woman would receive a briefcase containing the money related to the policy. After sending the money for the second time, the woman had to receive a code. When the code was not found, he became suspicious of the person and opened the briefcase which contained many blank papers. In this way he understood that he had been cheated. The woman had sent about Rs 16 lakh. Then it was revealed that that person was created by Artificial Intelligence, in reality he was not a person. Now she is working with the National Fraud Helpline to find ways to get her lost money back.
