Kannauj: A video of a female health worker demanding money in the name of conducting a delivery in a health center in Gursahaiganj area of Kannauj and a young man giving money to her is going viral. It is being alleged that the female health worker had demanded money from the victim in the name of conducting a delivery. After the video went viral, there was a stir in the health department. In a hurry, CMO Dr. Vinod Kumar took immediate cognizance of the matter and ordered an investigation. Local 18 does not confirm the viral video.
where is the matter
The whole matter is of a sub-centre operated in the health centre complex located on GT Road in Gursahaiganj area. Here a female health worker demanded money from the family of a woman who came for delivery. Someone made the video of her taking money viral. After the video went viral, there was a stir in the health department. It can be clearly seen in the video that the woman is saying that doing this work sweats from top to bottom. We are five people. Meanwhile, a young man is giving some money in the left hand of the woman. After this, the female health worker counts the money and keeps it with herself.
Where are the victims from
Jitendra Kumar, a resident of village Malikpur, reached the health sub-centre at GT Road crossing in an ambulance at around 2:00 am last night when his wife was in labour pain. His nephew Alok was also with him. After admitting his wife, a female health worker posted there demanded some money from his nephew.
Victim’s accusation
The victim’s nephew Alok told that after the delivery, a female health worker asked him for some money. When he said that he did not have any money, the staff deployed there did not agree. After this, he went back to his village and returned after arranging the money. On returning, she said that he could not arrange the full amount, so take something less. After this, he gave that money to the female health worker.
What did the CMO say?
CMO Dr Vinod Kumar said that a video has surfaced of a health worker posted as ANM taking money. In the video, it is seen that she is talking to someone and taking some money from an unknown person. We have immediately formed a team in this matter. Two doctors have been deployed. Appropriate action will be taken after investigating the matter. If the matter is found to be true, then action of suspension will also be taken against the ANM.
