A divisional level science model competition was organized at MD Jain Inter College on Thursday on the occasion of National Science Day by the Regional Center for Science and Technology, Agra. Here 120 participants of 9th, 11th class from Agra, Mathura, Mainpuri, Firozabad have presented models.

Mathura’s 11th class Sneha has made a model named Automatic Watering System. The specialty of its sensor is that even if you are not at home, the sensor will give water to the trees and plants in your garden according to its own. On the other hand, Mohammed Sahim, a student of 11th standard from Mainpuri, made such an alarm in just Rs 250, which when planted in the fields, stray animals will not be able to destroy the crop.

Regional Scientific Officer Dr. Devendra Shah, Dr. Vivek Sudarshan, Principal GL Jain, Dr. Nikhil Jain jointly inaugurated the program at MD Jain Inter College, Hariparvat on Thursday. In the jury, Prof. KP Tiwari, Prof. RK Srivastava, Surabhi Pandey, Dr. Arun Sikarwar were involved. Rinesh Mittal, Dr. Priya Mishra, Ashwani Kumar Jain etc were present in the programme.
