India’s 18 year old young Grandmaster D Gukesh Dommaraju has created a new history by winning the World Chess Championship title. In this competition, he defeated Ding Liren of China and became the youngest chess champion. After this success, Gukesh met Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. During this, Adani praised him profusely for this wonderful achievement.

Gukesh defeated Lee with this trick
He continued to compete for 14 games in this World Chess Championship held in Singapore. During this, D Gukesh played with the black pieces and took advantage of a mistake by Lee who came under pressure and won by 7.5 points. With this, Gukesh became the second Indian after Vishwanathan Anand to become world champion in classical. Not only this, Gukesh also broke the four decade old record of chess legend Garry Kasparov. Born in Tamil Nadu in 2006, he started playing chess at the age of just seven. His father is a doctor and mother a microbiologist.
