At least 75 and maximum 90 players could be bought in this auction of the Women’s Premier League. This is because every franchise had the option of keeping a squad of 15 to 18 players. A maximum of 30 foreign players could be bought here. Each franchise had the option of including a maximum of 6 foreign players in the squad. All the five franchises fulfilled this quota. That is, 30 foreign players were bought in the auction.
