Twitter: A new feature is being rolled out in X (formerly known as Twitter). The name of this feature is PassKey. With the help of this feature, the accounts of the users of this micro blogging platform will become more secure than before. Let us tell you all the details about this feature.
New feature in X
Actually, through the passkey feature, it will become easier for users to login to their account. The company believes that it is more secure than passwords, and it will become more difficult to hack users’ accounts. If you login to your same X account on smartphone, tablet, laptop or different devices, then the passkey feature asks you for Face ID, Touch ID or PIN ID. This means that even if you do not remember the password, you will still be able to login to your account.
Will work like WhatsApp
This tick works in the same way as the fingerprint sensor in WhatsApp. After activating the fingerprint sensor present in WhatsApp, users have to touch their fingerprint and not the password to access their WhatsApp account. Similarly, in X (Twitter) too, users will get the option to use Face ID, Touch ID or PIN in addition to the password to login. With this, users will not need to remember the password, and no other person will be able to open the account.
Account will be more secure than before
Apart from this, if you want to open X in the web version, then you will have to complete two processes through the password. The first process will take place in your X account, and the second on the device you want to use the web version on. This is also a feature exactly like logging in to WhatsApp Web. X has currently rolled out this new security feature only for iPhone users, but it is expected that soon the company will introduce this feature for Android and desktop users also.
