Karan Patel on Bigg Boss: TV actor Karan Patel is known for the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He was seen in the role of Raman Bhalla in the show. Now Karan has talked about Bigg Boss and also told that he used to be the ‘highest paid junior artist’ at one time.
Karan said this about Bigg Boss
While talking to Times of India, Karan said, ‘Bigg Boss is also taking TikTok/influencers into the show. So where is your understanding and level when it comes to calling people or treating them like celebrities? In the beginning there were only actors. Then you spoiled everything by bringing in actors along with commoners. Then you brought in the commoners from the lower class. Then you mixed everything. Now even associating with the show has become very dirty and insulting.
Karan also said- ‘My mother likes Bigg Boss very much. Who doesn’t like gossip in India? And the biggest source of gossip is daily soap. There are a lot of affairs in daily soaps.
Played the role of junior artist
Talking about the initial days, Karan said, ‘I was doing 13 cameos. I was the highest paid junior artist of Balaji. Yes, that’s what I call myself. I remember at that time we used to get Rs 2600 or 2800. I was doing shows like Kahaani, Kasauti, Kesar, Kavyanjali, Karam Apna Apna. And I was constantly working on every show, almost everywhere. I started making fun of myself. Imagine, I am sitting quietly at one place and in many shows…’
Karan also said that he did not have any dialogue for 6 months in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. He said sarcastically – There was no dialogue for 6 months. I was playing such an important character that I don’t even give you a chance to blink. Because if you blinked you would have missed me. I was trying to understand what I was doing for the first 6 months.
