According to information, the marriage of Durga Prasad, a resident of Delhi’s Nihal Vihar, was fixed with a girl resident of Cantt in Bareilly. When he came with his family to the girl’s house for the ceremony of Godbharai, the things he said while calling his would-be bridegroom were amazing. The girl said – ‘You are less educated and not even beautiful, on top of that the color is also black. In such a situation, I cannot marry you because my friends will make fun of me. Not only this, the girl also had to say that the boy himself should refuse and if he did not do so, she would run away before marriage.
The girl’s family created ruckus
Interestingly, the boy also broke this relationship and refused to marry. Now the family members of the girl did not know the whole matter and they created a ruckus on this matter. Not only did the matter reach the level of abuses, but the family members of the boy were also threatened with police. The groom’s side says that the bride’s family members called them and asked for Rs 2 lakh in the name of settling the matter, and after not getting the money, beat them up and took away all the belongings. At present, this matter has reached the court and the police have registered a report and started investigation.
