Voter Slip: Elections for the 18th Lok Sabha have started in India. The elections are to be completed in seven phases. Whose first phase was held on 19 April 2024 in which votes were cast in 102 constituencies. So the second phase will take place on 26 April 2024. In which voters will vote in 89 constituencies of 13 states. It is very important for any voter to have a voter slip for voting.
Voter slips are issued to voters only after their names appear in the voter list. But on many occasions the voter slip does not reach the voters. If you have not yet received your voter slip for voting. So you can download it while sitting at home. Let us know how.
How to download from Voter Helpline App
If your voter slip has not reached you yet. So you can download it through Voter Helpline App. For this, first of all you have to go to the app store of your phone and download the Voter Helpline app. After this you have to login with the help of mobile number and password. If you are not registered in the National Voter Service Portal i.e. NVSP, then you will have to register first.
When you login, you have to click on the option of ‘Search your name in electoral role’. After this, four options will appear in front of you to search. In which ‘Search by mobile’, Search by bar/QR code, Search by details or Search by EPIC number would have been given. After filling any of these information you will have to click on search. The voter slip will appear in front of you. Which you can download.
Download from Election Commission website
To download from the website, you will have to go to the official website of the Election Commission https://voters.eci.gov.in/. After this you have to click on the option of ‘Search in Electoral Role’. After this, four options will appear in front of you to search.
In which search by EPIC number, search by mobile and search by details would have been given. After filling any of these information and entering the captcha, you will have to click on search. After this a new page will open in front of you. In which by clicking on action you will get the download option.
