The family of Mohammad Asif, resident of Saharanpur, has been preparing samosas that taste like this sweet for the last 70 years. To make this samosa, firstly the flour is kneaded and shaped into a samosa and then the mawa of buffalo or cow’s milk is extracted. The mawa is cut into small pieces and powdered sugar is added to it. Then it is closed in the shape of a samosa and then fried in oil.
This samosa drowns in syrup
After frying in oil, it is dipped in syrup like Rasgulla and then it is ready for people to eat. It looks exactly like samosa but its taste is not salty but completely sweet. People praise it a lot after eating it. Its price is also only ₹ 10. Mohammad Asif easily sells 200 to 250 samosas every day.
Hundreds of people taste it every day
While talking to Local 18, samosa maker Mohammad Asif said that this sweet samosa is made in the same way as salty samosa is made. Instead of potatoes, it is filled with mawa and after frying it is dipped in syrup. Due to this, it becomes sweet instead of salty. Then it is taken out and sold.
Mohammad Asif tells that the elders of his family have been making this samosa for the last 70 years and now they are also making and selling this samosa. Talking about the price of this samosa, it is only ₹ 10 which everyone can easily buy and eat. People who eat it say that the taste of samosas is no different from sweets. 200 to 250 samosas are easily sold every day.
