Araria : Bihar’s famous dish litti and chokha has now made its mark even outside the state’s borders. However, there is a special shop in Raniganj of Araria district, where you get the unique taste of eating chola with litti. Litti-chola here has become so famous that 600-700 pieces of litti are sold within just 3 hours.
15-year-old Prince Kumar, who runs this shop, said that he gives Chickpeas, Onion, Green Chillies and Water for free with Litti. Huge crowd of customers flock to his shop daily, especially during the rainy season. Prince says that his small business is quite successful and he does this work along with his studies.
It has become a favorite spot for customers
Regular customers of the shop, such as Amit, Rajesh Kumar, Ravi Singh, and Harsh Raj from Sheikhpura, said that the litti and chola of this shop in Raniganj tastes amazing. Eating this dish in the rainy season is a different pleasure. Amit said, “Whenever I come to Raniganj market for any work, I definitely come to this shop and taste litti and chola with tomato chutney and onion-chilli. The taste here is better than in big cities, which draws me here again and again.”

Prince told that 600-700 pieces of litti are sold in just 3 hours at his shop. The purity and taste provided by him has a big contribution behind this success, due to which people come here from far and wide to enjoy litti and chola.
