On the Hathras Road in the early hours of September 11, an unknown vehicle ran over a young man who was jogging. He died on the spot in the accident. The young man was preparing to join the army.

21 year old Mohit, son of Narayan Singh, resident of Nagla Jailal village, was preparing for police recruitment. He used to go out of the village every morning to run. Two days later, he had to go to Aligarh to take the CGL exam. On the morning of 11th September, around 4:15 am, while running near Ramveer Upadhyay’s residence on Hathras Road, an unknown vehicle hit him, due to which he was seriously injured. He died after some time. Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Villagers have told that Mohit was very bright, he had completed his BA. Now he was preparing for government competitive exams. Mohit’s father works as a tailor and his mother is handicapped. Mohit’s death has left his parents and younger brother inconsolable. Police station in-charge inspector Naresh Singh said that no written complaint has been received regarding the incident yet. The youth died due to a collision with an unknown vehicle.
