Actually, now content creators will be able to earn big money through YouTube short as well. Google has announced this today. After February 1, users will start getting its benefit. We all know that for monetization on YouTube, there should be 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch hours on the channel. But the monetization policy for shorts is completely different. First of all, let us tell you that if you want to earn money from short videos, then for this you will have to sign a new contract with YouTube. That is, you have to tell YouTube whether you want to earn money from short videos or not. To monetize shorts, you have to accept YouTube’s shorts monetization module. For this you will get time from 1st February to 10th July. If you accept it then your earning will start otherwise you will be out of this program.

If a content creator wants to monetize his shorts, he must first accept YouTube’s new partner program. After this, the content creator’s shorts should have 10 million views in the last 90 days. Only then shorts will be monetized. Keep in mind, viewership of shorts will not count towards 4000 hours of watch hours. Means the views of shorts will be counted separately and that of the channel separately.
