Let us tell you that recently Universal Music Group had removed the songs and videos of popular artists like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande from TikTok videos and removed its entire catalog from TikTok. After this action taken against TikTok by Universal Music Group, the Remix feature has been launched for YouTube Shorts.
With this move of YouTube, millions of creators making short videos on TikTok can be transferred to Shorts, due to which YouTube can get huge benefits. YouTube has informed through a blog post that four new tools – Sound, Green Screen, Cut and Collab – have been introduced for users creating shorts on the Remix platform. Users can add music videos to their shorts using these tools to make their shorts creative.
Features of these 4 tools
- Sound: Through this feature, users will be able to take only the sound from the music video and use it for their short.
- Green Screen: Through this feature, users will be able to use the music video as the background of the short. This will allow users to film real-time reactions to the first listen.
- cut: Through this feature, users can cut 5 second long clips and add them to their shorts.
- Collab: With this tool, users will be able to create their own videos along with music videos. YouTube says that users and their friends can choreograph along with the artist in the short.
