How do scammers lure users?

Cyber ​​criminals use end-to-end encrypted instant messaging platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram to execute this scam. They send messages to users from an unknown number. Scammers ask users to like some videos on YouTube. They say that Rs 50 per ‘like’ will be paid to the users. Users are asked to like the video and share its screenshot on WhatsApp.

Scammers further said that you have to like some videos, from which you can earn from 150 to 1500 rupees per day. Screenshots were asked to prove whether the video has been liked or not. After sharing screenshots of liked YouTube videos, were asked to download Telegram and speak to a “receptionist”. The scammer said that only after doing this, the payment would be received. Explain that in many cases, users are added to Telegram groups which already have many members.

Demands money from executive users

Here users are put in touch with an executive – or a “receptionist” who asks users to pay a certain amount. The executive tells the users that if they pay a certain amount, they will get a bigger amount in return. If the users do not pay the requested amount, the amount earned is withdrawn and the scammers ask for even more money. They scare the users. It is shown that the users have made a mistake and now they have to pay to get the money back. You need to be extremely careful with such scams immediately.
